Sharing the announcement on X, Mohan Raja described the project as a special milestone in his career. The filmmaker said it would be his 11th directorial venture and comes in the 25th year of his journey in cinema.
"By the blessings of my parents, my family, and all your love, I've always been showered with good work. Now, my 11th directorial in the 25th year of my career becomes even more special — as I join hands with my dear brother, Karthi. Produced by Prince Pictures. And to my audience once again: I have no words to thank you for always standing by me. Please bless me in this journey too," he wrote on X, while sharing some photos.

According to the makers, the film has been conceived as a wholesome family entertainer and is described as "a grand celebration of family entertainment with inspiring heroism." Further details regarding the cast, technical crew and release plans are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
The project is backed by producer S Lakshman Kumar under the Prince Pictures banner. The production house is also bankrolling Karthi's upcoming action thriller Sardar 2, directed by PS Mithran.
Apart from the Mohan Raja's film, Karthi has a busy line-up ahead. He will next be seen in Sardar 2, scheduled to release on September 10. The actor is also working on Marshal, a period action drama directed by Taanakaran filmmaker Tamizh, besides his untitled 30th film with Mad and Mad Square director Kalyan Shankar.
