Man's dismissive response after being caught littering railway tracks draws flak

An elderly man was caught on camera throwing banana peels onto railway tracks and appeared dismissive even after being confronted over littering.
A video of the incident has triggered massive outrage as several social media users criticised his indifferent attitude towards public cleanliness.
Instagram user James shared the short clip with the caption, "Zero civic sense waale uncle mil gaye (Found an uncle with zero civic sense).”
The video showed the elderly man standing on a railway platform next to a stationary train, eating bananas and throwing the peels onto the tracks.
Witnessing this, James politely intervened. "Chhilka nahi daalte yahaan par. Kachre ke dibbe mein daalte hain (You should not throw peels here. You should put them in the dustbin),” he told the man.
The elderly man, however, simply gestured with his hands as if it did not matter and continued eating another banana. Even after being told not to litter, he appeared ready to throw another peel onto the tracks.
James stopped him again, saying, "Mat daalo. Bolne ke baad bhi mat daalo. Yeh anpadh log karte hain, jo padhe likhe nahi hote hain, woh yeh sab karte hain. Har jagah kachre ka dabba hai (Don't throw it. Even after being told, don't throw it. Uneducated people do this. Those who are educated don't behave like this. There are dustbins everywhere).”
Only after repeated requests did the elderly man walk over to a dustbin on the platform and dispose of the banana peel.
James then pointed to the peels already lying on the tracks and said, "Kitna ganda kiya hai aapne. Bharat ke ho ki baahar se ho (You've made the place so dirty. Are you from India or from abroad)?” The man, however, did not seem to care much and walked away.
