Bhopal man spots wife with another man, damages his scooter in late-night row

A late-night dispute between a husband and wife turned into a public spectacle in Bhopal after the man saw his wife with another man, leading to an argument and damage to a scooter belonging to his wife's friend.

The incident took place late at night. According to police, the couple have been involved in a marital dispute for the past three years, with the husband seeking a divorce.

HUSBAND SEES WIFE WITH ANOTHER MAN

According to information, the husband spotted his wife on JK Road in the company of another man. He became upset after seeing them together, following which an argument broke out between the couple on the road.

The situation escalated as the husband damaged a scooter during the confrontation. The scooter reportedly belonged to the man who was with his wife. He left the scooter behind and fled from the spot.

People in the area gathered after noticing the commotion. Some bystanders also recorded videos of the incident on their mobile phones, which later surfaced and brought attention to the episode.

POLICE REACH SPOT AFTER LATE-NIGHT RUCKUS

After receiving information about the incident in Ashoka Garden area, police reached the spot and brought the situation under control. Police spoke to those involved and are looking into the circumstances surrounding the dispute.

Ashoka Garden outpost in-charge Pawan Sen said the husband and wife had been having a dispute for around three years. He said the husband had been insisting on getting a divorce.

According to Sen, the husband saw his wife with another man on the night of the incident, following which an argument took place on the road. The wife subsequently left the spot, while the scooter was damaged by the husband and some people present there, he said.

HUSBAND APPROACHES POLICE SEEKING DIVORCE

Pawan Sen said no complaint had been filed with the police in connection with the incident so far. He said the husband was the one who approached the police station and told them that he wanted a divorce.

The husband also told police that he has three children and said he was facing considerable distress over the ongoing marital dispute.

The incident caused a crowd to gather on JK Road for some time, with the late-night argument drawing the attention of people in the busy area.
