Manoj Tiwari's daughter Rhiti trolled over Rs 25K allowance, vada pav 'struggle'

Reality television thrives on raw confessions, but for actor-politician Manoj Tiwari's daughter, Rhiti Tiwari, her recent stint on Bigg Boss 20 has sparked an online flurry for all the wrong reasons. Rhiti came under intense scrutiny over attempting to disown her privileged background as she spoke about surviving on Rs 25,000 monthly allowance and vada paav.

Her illustrative definition of personal hardship promptly set social media abuzz. Detailing her past financial constraints, she questioned how anyone could reasonably manage on a monthly allowance of Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000. To drive the point home, she shared anecdotes of eating Rs 10 vada pavs twice a day to fill her stomach and putting a modest Rs 500 worth of diesel into her car, framing herself as a "layman" who grew up without a silver spoon.

The internet, as expected, was quick to react, labelling her the latest "nepo struggler in the market" and highlihting the irony of equating a five-figure allowance and personal car maintenance with genuine financial penury. While netizens poked fun at her earnest attempt at relatability, the episode highlights the delicate, often precarious tightrope star children must walk on national television—where efforts to project self-made grit frequently clash with the unyielding realities of public perception.

Another X post attempted at a satirical swipe at Rhiti's definition of personal hardship. It read, "Bechari #RhitiTiwari ko bas 20-25k ki pocket money chalti hai. Manoj Tiwari has been married twice. He married his first wife, Rani Tiwari, in 1999, and the couple have a daughter, Rhiti. They separated after more than a decade of marriage and divorced in 2012. Manoj later married Surabhi Tiwari in April 2020. The couple have two daughters, born in 2020 and 2022, making Manoj a father of three daughters.
