Horror at Maharashtra factory, worker falls into boiling jaggery cauldron; dies

A 25-year-old migrant worker from Uttar Pradesh died after he accidentally fell into a cauldron of boiling jaggery at a factory in Maharashtra. A video of the incident has gone viral showing his fellow workers desperately trying to pull him out.
Danish, a resident of Lakhimpur Kheri district, had travelled to Maharashtra with 15 friends in search of work. He had taken up a job at a jaggery factory there.
In the footage of the August 21 incident, Danish is seen standing near the cauldron before suddenly falling into the open vessel filled with boiling molasses.
He can be seen writhing in pain as fellow workers scramble to pull him out using ladles and other materials available on the spot.
He remained in the boiling liquid for around a minute before the workers managed to get him out.
Danish was rushed to a hospital, but doctors declared him dead.
News of his death left his family in shock. When his body reached his native village, his family initially suspected that his friends may have been involved in his death.
However, footage from the jaggery factory showed that Danish had fallen into the cauldron suddenly and that no one had pushed him.
The video also showed his fellow workers attempting to rescue him immediately after the accident.
The footage helped clear the family's doubts, after which they performed Danish's last rites.
