BRICS Summit: Delhi taxis get new pick-up and drop-off rules from Sep 11
Delhi Traffic Police has fixed Gate 4 on Bhairon Road as the only cab pick-up and drop-off point during the BRICS Summit. The arrangement, in force from September 11 to 13, also directs taxis to use Bhairon Mandir Parking and asks commuters to plan ahead.

According to the Delhi Traffic Police advisory, passengers travelling by taxi or online cab will need to use the designated location for both pick-up and drop-off.
PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF ONLY AT GATE 4
All taxi and online taxi services will be allowed to drop off and pick up passengers only outside Gate No. 4 on the Bhairon Road side.
Passengers travelling to the venue by cab should therefore check the designated point before starting their journey.
DESIGNATED TAXI PARKING ON BHAIRON ROAD
A designated parking area has also been specified for taxis at Bhairon Mandir Parking, located on the other side of the road.
Taxi operators have been advised to use the designated parking arrangement during the summit period.
PLAN YOUR JOURNEY IN ADVANCE
The Delhi Traffic Police has advised commuters travelling by taxi to check the pick-up and drop-off point beforehand and plan their journey accordingly.
The traffic advisory is applicable during the BRICS Summit period from September 11 to 13, 2026.
