Awarapan 2 box office Day 10: Emraan film stays steady, nears Rs 200 crore globally
Actor Emraan Hashmi's Awarapan 2 has completed 10 days in theatres with steady box office collections. The film's second-week hold has pushed its domestic and worldwide totals higher.
Actors Emraan Hashmi and Disha Patani’s Awarapan 2 continues to hold steady at the box office as it completes 10 days in theatres. After a strong opening week and a healthy second weekend, the sequel has now crossed the Rs 136 crore mark in India nett and Rs 193 crore worldwide.
On Day 10, according to trade website Sacnilk, Awarapan 2 recorded a nett collection of Rs 7.05 crore from 13,629 shows.
The latest addition has taken the film’s India net collection to Rs 136.50 crore, while its India gross stands at Rs 162.70 crore. With a healthy second-week run, the film is now on track to cross the Rs 150 crore India nett mark by the end of its second week.
The overseas market contributed another Rs 1.50 crore, taking the cumulative overseas gross to Rs 30.30 crore.
With that, Awarapan 2 has now reached a worldwide gross of Rs 193 crore, maintaining its momentum well into its second week.
The film opened with Rs 22 crore on Day 1 and saw a major jump on Day 2, collecting Rs 33.75 crore. It followed that up with Rs 26 crore on Day 3. The numbers then settled throughout the rest of the first week, with Awarapan 2 earning Rs 9.25 crore on Day 4, Rs 9.75 crore on Day 5, Rs 6.75 crore on Day 6 and Rs 6 crore on Day 7. Its first-week India nett stood at Rs 113.50 crore, while the India gross reached Rs 135.37 crore.

The film also maintained a consistent pace overseas during its opening week. It collected Rs 2.50 crore on Day 1, Rs 5 crore on Day 2, Rs 4 crore on Day 3, Rs 2.50 crore on Day 4, Rs 2 crore on Day 5, Rs 1.50 crore on Day 6 and Rs 1 crore on Day 7. Its overseas gross during the first week stood at Rs 26.30 crore, taking the worldwide gross to Rs 161.67 crore.
The second weekend brought another boost to the film’s theatrical run. On Day 8, Awarapan 2 earned Rs 5.75 crore net in India from 9,858 shows, taking its domestic net total to Rs 119.25 crore. The India gross stood at Rs 142.21 crore, while Rs 1 crore from overseas pushed its worldwide gross to Rs 169.51 crore.
Directed by Nitin Kakar, the film also stars Shabana Azmi, Suvinder Vicky and Puran Gabbi in key roles.
