Hanuman Ansh box office Day 30: Film surges, falls short of Rs 100 crore by lakhs

Hanuman Ansh continues to hold its ground at the box office, showing no signs of slowing down even in its fourth week. Powered by strong word-of-mouth, the film witnessed a massive jump in collections on its 30th day, taking its India nett total to Rs 99.13 crore. Directed by Vishal Chaturvedi and led by Shobhinaww Satyaa, the film is inching closer to the Rs 100 crore mark.

According to trade website Sacnilk, Hanuman Ansh recorded a 62.5 per cent jump in its collection on Day 30 compared to the previous day. The film collected Rs 16.25 crore nett in India across 6,055 shows on its fifth Saturday. Its total India gross collection now stands at Rs 117.27 crore, while the India nett collection has reached Rs 99.13 crore.

The film had opened to a slow start at the ticket window, collecting Rs 1.08 crore in its opening week. However, its box-office run picked up considerably in the weeks that followed. Hanuman Ansh collected Rs 10.40 crore in its third week, before witnessing a significant surge in its fourth week.

Written and directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, Hanuman Ansh draws from the life and teachings of Neem Karoli Baba, popularly revered as Maharaj Ji. The film, centred on his life, has benefited from strong audience word-of-mouth and continues its successful theatrical run in its fourth week.
