Ssunita Ahuja picks SRK for 'one night stand', calls him her 'first priority'

Television personality and actor Govinda's wife Ssunita Ahuja expressed her admiration for actor Shah Rukh Khan during a recent rapid-fire interview, naming him as her primary choice among her industry peers.
Appearing on the talk show Why Not with MNL Season 3, Ssunita was asked to choose between Shah Rukh Khan, Shahid Kapoor, and Harshvardhan Rane for a hypothetical "one-night stand" during a rapid-fire segment. Without hesitation, she selected Khan as her primary pick. "You ask anything, my first priority will be Shah Rukh Khan only," she said.
Addressing her personal life, Ssunita also clarified that she holds no regrets about her marriage to Govinda, describing him as a "very nice" and "very honest" person.
"I have no regrets. When I met Govinda, he was a very nice person. He was very honest. I am a very emotional person. People think I am very hard and strict, but whatever I speak, I say it from my heart. There are very few people who can understand me," she added.
Addressing their current dynamic, she said, "I don’t have any regrets about marrying him. I want people to live their life and let others live too. He is living his life. I have started living my life."
Her remarks follow months of intense media scrutiny surrounding the couple's 38-year marriage. In August 2026, Ssunita withdrew a divorce petition she had previously filed in Mumbai’s Bandra Family Court, following public speculation regarding Govinda’s association with his Roopa co-star Komal Rani Swarnkar. While Govinda's representative subsequently denied any formal separation or plans for a second marriage, both partners have increasingly acknowledged navigating independent personal routines.
Despite her film industry background, Ssunita refrained from pursuing a conventional acting career in Hindi cinema for many years, remaining largely identified through her marriage. However, she has recently expanded her media profile through reality television.
Following appearances on shows such as Laughter Chefs: Unlimited Entertainment — where she reunited with her nephew Krushna Abhishek and Kashmera Shah — and Maa Hai Na, Ssunita recently featured as a key contestant in the reality show Lock Upp 2.
