Actor Anaswara Rajan is Ammulu Paapa in Chiranjeevi's Kaaka, first look out

Actor Anaswara Rajan’s first look from Chiranjeevi and Bobby Kolli’s upcoming film Kaaka has been unveiled, offering the first glimpse of her character in the highly anticipated project. The makers revealed Anaswara’s look on her birthday, while confirming that the film is currently in production. Kaaka is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on January 13, 2027.

The makers wished Anaswara calling her the “heart of Kaaka” and introduced her character as Ammulu Paapa. While the new update does not reveal much about her role, Anaswara is said to be playing a crucial part in the film, which marks her first association with Chiranjeevi and director Bobby Kolli.

Kaaka brings Chiranjeevi and Bobby together for the second time after their successful collaboration, Waltair Veerayya. The film is being mounted on a large scale and is currently progressing with its shoot. The team is working towards the Sankranti 2027 release, with a lengthy schedule planned in Hyderabad.

The film was recently launched with a grand pooja ceremony attended by Chiranjeevi’s brothers, Pawan Kalyan and Nagababu. Pawan Kalyan gave the first clap, while Sushmita Konidela switched on the camera and director VV Vinayak directed the first shot.

On Chiranjeevi’s birthday, the makers had unveiled the film’s title and a glimpse, introducing him as Satyam. The glimpse also featured an older and younger version of Chiranjeevi, leaving audiences curious about whether the actor is playing dual roles or if the younger version appears as part of a flashback.

Apart from Anaswara Rajan, Kaaka features Nivetha Pethuraj, Sunil, Getup Srinu and Kannada actor Rachita Ram in important roles. S Thaman is composing the music, while Vijay Karthik Kannan is handling cinematography. The film is produced by Venkat K Narayana under KVN Productions and marks the banner’s first Telugu venture.
