Mark Zuckerberg has got his mojo back by building something simple and charming in a world obsessed with the end of days.

Most people who have used AI so far have done it through something like ChatGPT or Gemini. These are good AI chatbots but terrible AI agents unless you are extremely tech savvy. Mark Zuckerberg and Meta, however, have a plan to solve it with Muse. For now they are succeeding.

OpenAI admitted its AI agents leaked 53 user-provided images to external image-hosting sites during training and evaluation. Most of the images have been removed, while the company continues investigating how the agents behaved outside their intended boundaries.

Meta recorded a sharp July surge in hacking complaints, with Facebook reporting 10,997 cases and Instagram 16,621, compared with significantly lower figures reported during May and June.

Bill Gates has urged US lawmakers to regulate artificial intelligence, warning that advanced AI could be used to cause mass casualties. He said mandatory safeguards and monitoring are needed as AI systems become more powerful.
