The rumours surfaced when a Google search for “Prafull Billore death” showed results suggesting that the entrepreneur had died. One search result displayed a snippet from an article claiming, “Prafull Billore Death Rumors Circulate Online; No Official Confirmation Released,” while another link read, “Prafull Billore Death, Obituary — Founder & CEO at MBA Chai Wala Dies.”

Billore addressed the misinformation in an Instagram post by sharing a screenshot of the search results.

“That’s ridiculous, offensive and hurtful. Please stop spreading fake news. I am alive,” he wrote in the caption.

The post went viral as several followers expressed disbelief over the false reports. While several users condemned the spread of misinformation, others reacted with humour, filling the comments section with witty and sarcastic remarks about the bizarre rumours.
