According to a report by Gulf News, people in oversized gorilla costumes have been spotted at parties in Pakistan, where their towering presence and exaggerated dance moves have quickly become an unexpected part of the celebrations.
A video from the parties, shared by AFP, showed the costumed performers throwing their massive arms around and dancing to DJ beats while guests moved around them. With the performers almost completely hidden inside the bulky costumes, their energetic movements made them hard to ignore.
The gorillas appeared to become something of a centrepiece at the celebrations, with party-goers dancing alongside them and seemingly enjoying the absurdity of having giant apes suddenly join the festivities.
