Noida men pause morning walk for a musical mehfil of Yeh Raatein Yeh Mausam

A group of elderly men stepped out for their morning walk in a housing society in Noida, but instead of heading straight home, they gathered at a park and turned it into a charming musical mehfil.

The group created a moment of music, friendship and pure joy as they sang Kishore Kumar and Asha Bhosle’s evergreen hit Yeh Raatein Yeh Mausam.

The video, filmed at a housing society in Noida’s Sector 121, has gone viral on social media with over 36 million views after it was shared by Instagram user Vinit Kumar Srivastava. It showed the men singing together as music played from a speaker, with some following the lyrics on their phones.

One of the men added a playful touch to the gathering with what appeared to be a little violin-inspired dance, swaying to the music as his friends sang along.

The impromptu performance, thus, turned an ordinary morning at the park into a memorable get-together.

The video was shared with a caption that read, “POV: Morning walk thi par sur chhedte hi park ban gaya mehfil (POV: It was a morning walk, but the moment the music began, the park turned into a mehfil).”
