Woman reversing SUV kills domestic help sleeping in Gurugram parking lot
A domestic worker was killed after a woman reversing a Thar ran over her while she was sleeping in the parking area of a Gurugram housing society.

A 57-year-old domestic worker was killed after being run over by a Mahindra Thar while she was sleeping in the parking area of a residential society in Gurugram, police said on Wednesday. The incident took place on Tuesday evening at Ansal Aralia Society in Sector 67.
The victim, identified as Guddi, a native of Mahoba district in Uttar Pradesh, was sleeping in the society's parking area when she was run over by a woman reversing a red Thar. She died on the spot, police said.
According to the victim's family, the woman was driving the vehicle negligently when the accident occurred. They alleged that after the incident, the accused shifted Guddi to a private hospital in another vehicle, where doctors declared her dead.
The family further claimed that after returning from the hospital, the woman brought the body back to the society's parking area, left it there and went back to her flat.
Police reached the spot after receiving information about the incident, took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem examination. The woman driving the Thar has been detained and is being questioned.
A police investigation is underway to ascertain the exact sequence of events and determine whether negligence or any other offence was involved in the incident.
