NEET PG 2026 application correction window closes today, here's what you can edit

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will close the NEET PG 2026 application correction window today, July 28. Candidates who have already registered for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2026 can make corrections to their application forms through the official NBEMS website at natboard.edu.in.

The correction facility, which opened on July 25, allows applicants to rectify errors in specific fields of their submitted forms. After the window closes, no further requests for changes through email or offline mode will be entertained.

NEET PG 2026: DETAILS THAT CAN BE EDITED

During the correction window, candidates can modify the following details:

• Date of birth
• Gender
• Category (SC/ST/OBC/General)
• PwD status
• EWS status
• Academic qualifications

However, certain fields cannot be changed. These include the candidate's name, email ID, mobile number, nationality, Aadhaar details, correspondence address and test state preferences. Candidates who change their category or PwD status and become liable for an additional application fee must pay the balance amount during the correction period.

NEET PG 2026 APPLICATION FORM: HOW TO EDIT

1. Visit the official NBEMS website at natboard.edu.in
2. Log in using their application credentials
3. Open the NEET PG 2026 application form
4. Edit the permitted fields
5. Review all changes carefully
6. Submit the corrected form and download a copy for future reference

NBEMS has also scheduled a separate selective image correction window from July 31 to August 10 for candidates whose uploaded photographs, signatures or thumb impressions are found deficient during scrutiny. This selective edit window is meant only for correcting deficient or incorrect images and is separate from the application correction window that closes on July 28. No changes to other application details will be permitted during this phase.

The NEET PG 2026 examination is scheduled to be held on August 30. The test city intimation slip will be issued on August 11, while admit cards will be released on August 27.
