Actor Salman Khan's new look in a cowboy hat has been unveiled ahead of the release of his war drama Matrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace. The appearance has drawn attention at a time when there is speculation about the actor's next project.

Salman was photographed outside a dubbing centre in Bandra, where he was seen in a rugged, cowboy-inspired outfit. His latest appearance has added to the curiosity around his upcoming work.

He wore a red and white plaid button-down shirt, left partially unbuttoned, with distressed light-blue denim jeans. The outfit was styled with a textured grey cowboy hat.

He completed the look with a black leather belt featuring a prominent silver buckle, a gold watch, dark black shoes, and a silver chain bracelet accented with a large turquoise stone.

On the work front, Salman is prepping for Telugu film director Vamshi Paidipally's next film, tentatively titled SVC 63. The film also features actor Nayanthara and is set for a Eid 2027 release. In April 2026, Salman revealed the release date with a post on X that read, “Thoda durr ki sochna chahiye, That’s why announced Eid.. Don’t worry, iss wali ka bhi bataenge, when the time is right Patience, thoda sa sabar Mere Jitna he intezar karna padega, Baherhaal jo apka haal hai wo hi mera bhi haal hai. Haha (Have to think a little ahead—that’s why I announced Eid. Don’t worry, we’ll reveal the other one too when the time is right. Patience just a little patience. You’ll have to wait as long as I am. Anyway, the way you’re feeling right now—I’m feeling the same)(sic).”

Korean action director Sea Young Oh, popularly known as Mr Oh, who previously worked on Dhurandhar (2025), Kill (2023) and War (2019) has also bee roped in for the upcoming project.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan has another exciting project in the pipeline. The actor will be seen in Matrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace, directed by Apoorva Lakhia, with Chitrangada Singh also playing a significant role in the film.
