Sharing the emotional note on X, Anirudh reflected on his long association with Vijay, which began with Kaththi in 2014 and continued through Master, Beast, Leo and finally Jana Nayagan. "It has been a thoroughly amazing and emotional journey with you through Jana Nayagan, Leo, Beast, Master and Kaththi. Thank you, Vijay sir, for the unlimited trust and memories that I will cherish forever. The music lives on (sic)," Anirudh wrote.
Anirudh also shared a picture with Vijay from the song Thalapathy Katcheri from Jana Nayagan, in which he appears on the screen to ask Vijay for one last dance.
