The woman travelling on the bus alleged that a shirtless male passenger had sexually misbehaved with her during the journey. As she confronted the accused near the front of the bus, the situation escalated, prompting the driver, identified as Praveen, to step in.
The viral clip showed the woman, dressed in a white top, confronting the accused while holding her mobile phone. The shirtless man stood near the front entrance of the bus, holding what appeared to be a blue-striped cloth.
The driver physically restrained the accused before slapping and kicking him during the confrontation. The altercation intensified after the man spat at the driver while he was being questioned. Another passenger, wearing a brown shirt, also assisted in restraining the man.
The woman also participated in the confrontation and appeared to slap or push the accused as other passengers looked on. The accused gestured defensively while being held near the front door of the bus.
The bus appeared to have either stopped or slowed during the incident, with traffic visible outside. The doors also appeared to have remained closed, preventing the accused from leaving immediately.
