Indian national Amritpal Singh has been added to the US Federal Bureau of Investigation's (FBI) Most Wanted list for his alleged role in an international drug trafficking network operating across North America, the agency said.

According to the FBI, Singh is wanted for his alleged involvement in the Ravinder Dhanda organised crime group, a transnational criminal organisation based in Canada's Vancouver. The group allegedly smuggled large quantities of cocaine and methamphetamine for drug trafficking organisations across the US, Canada and Mexico.

His inclusion on the Most Wanted list comes amid the FBI's broader crackdown on the Ravinder Dhanda gang under Operation Hardball, an investigation targeting the group's alleged drug trafficking activities across North America.

According to the FBI, a federal arrest warrant was issued against Singh by a federal court in Los Angeles on June 23. It has not disclosed Singh's current location.

The agency identified Singh as an Indian citizen born on January 7, 1996, and released a photograph taken in 2024 to help identify him.

The FBI has appealed to the public to immediately report any information regarding Singh's whereabouts. The case is being investigated by the agency's Los Angeles Field Office.
