Inside Deepika-Ranveer's family album: Baby bump, Dua's smile and 'bigger hearts'
Actors Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh shared pictures with baby Dua as she turned two-years-old. The actor couple had earlier confirmed their second pregnancy in April 2026.
Dua Padukone Singh turned two, and her birthday album came with a little more than just cake and celebrations. In the photos shared by her parents, actors Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, the toddler’s infectious smile takes centre stage, while Deepika’s baby bump gives a glimpse of the family of three soon becoming four.
The couple shared the pictures on Instagram on Dua’s second birthday, writing, “Baby Dua and our hearts are getting bigger! Thank you for your blessings (sic).”
While reacting to the post, Ranveer's Dhurandhar co-actor Sara Arjun wrote, "The most adorable family...towchwood (sic)." A fan commented, "MY HEART SHALL EXPLODE (sic)." Another comment read, "Carrying cuteness of deepika (sic)."
In April 2026, Deepika and Ranveer had announced that they were expecting their second child. Keeping the announcement minimalist, the actors accompanied the pictures solely with evil eye emojis. The social media post swiftly gained traction, drawing a massive outpouring of celebratory wishes from fans across platforms.
On September 8, 2024, Deepika and Ranveer announced the birth of their first child with an adorable post on Instagram. In a joint post, the couple wrote, "Welcome baby girl. 8-9-2024. Deepika & Ranveer (sic)."
Deepika and Ranveer, who had been in a relationship for several years, got married in Italy in 2018. They welcomed Dua in 2024.
The duo named their daughter - Dua nearly two months after her birth. They officially announced her name in November 2024.
Deepika and Ranveer had unveiled Dua's face for the first time on social media on Diwali 2025. The trio was seen dressed in traditional attire amid Diwali festivities. In the pictures, Ranveer wore a cream embroidered kurta and matching bandhgala waistcoat, while Deepika opted for a deep red saree paired with heavy gold jewellery. Dua was dressed in a coordinating red outfit.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika will next be seen in Atlee's Raaka, featuring actor Allu Arjun. She will also be seen in director Siddharth Anand's King (2026), featuring actor Shah Rukh Khan in the titular role.
Ranveer, who was last seen in director Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar: The Revenge, will next be seen in Pralay, alongside actor Kalyani Priyadarshan. The film will be directed by Jai Mehta and jointly produced by Ranveer's Maa Kasam Films and producer Hansal Mehta's True Story Films.
