Rohit Sharma wears 'non-committal' T-shirt, fans link it to Ajit Agarkar's remark

Rohit Sharma is all set to start a new innings in the form of his TV show that is set to hit the screens soon. Rohit and Sony Sports Network have been hyping the game show Family Full House on social media, but the recent video has gone viral.

The clip shows Rohit in his laid back avatar, talking about how the producers have been pestering him with re-takes all the time. The former Indian captain went on to deliver the tune-in to the fans before calling it a day and ordering for a pack-up. But it is the T-shirt that he wore in the video that caught the eye of the fans.

Rohit's T-shirt read "non-committal?" and that created buzz online.

Many felt that it was a dig at BCCI and chief selector Ajit Agarkar's comments about Rohit and Virat Kohli and their future heading into the 2027 World Cup.

WHAT WAS AGARKAR'S COMMENT ABOUT RO-KO

Ahead of the Australia tour last year, Agarkar said that both Rohit and Kohli are non-committal about the World Cup. This is when Rohit was removed as the captain of the ODI side and was replaced by Shubman Gill.

“Both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are non-committal about the 2027 World Cup," said Agarkar.

Since the comment was made, Rohit and Kohli have remained committed to the cause of making it to the World Cup 2027 and even went back to domestic cricket.

This year, Rohit has scored 379 runs in nine matches, which included a hundred against England during the tour. It was also the time when Rohit's future was put into question, with reports saying he would retire after the Lord's ODI.

Since then, both BCCI and Rohit have strictly denied the reports as baseless. Rohit has also remained coy on his participation at the ODI World Cup next year.

"October 2027 is far away, we will see about it then," Rohit said at the Global Fintech Fest when a member of the audience asked if he would play in the next ODI World Cup.

Rohit is expected to be in action next during the West Indies ODIs this month.
