Woman shares 7-year-old daughter's hilarious 'podcast' on waterlogged society

A seven-year-old girl picked up a spare phone, stepped onto her balcony and decided to give viewers a rather unfiltered report on what was happening in her housing society after the rain.

X user Neetu Khandelwal shared the video on her account, explaining that it had been recorded by her daughter, who had apparently decided to make the video herself. What started as a simple recording of the rain-hit society ended up becoming an impromptu piece of commentary from the young girl.

In the video, the girl could be heard panning the camera around the area from what appeared to be her balcony. Pointing towards the waterlogged surroundings, she said, “Can you see that? This is my all society.”

She then proceeded to explain the situation in her own words, saying that it was the “raining season” and that her society was looking particularly bad. As the camera moved around, she pointed out the water everywhere, repeatedly describing the surroundings as “watery watery” and dirty.

The girl then turned her attention to the homes around her, saying that “everyone's houses” were affected and pointing towards broken areas and scattered bricks in the society.

Her narration was a mix of observations and spontaneous commentary, as she tried to make sense of everything she was seeing around her.

Neetu said she had discovered the video accidentally and was surprised by how confidently her daughter had made it. According to her caption, the seven-year-old had been wanting to start her own podcast channel and had made the video using a spare phone at home, without being prompted to do so.

“Kids nowadays are smarter than we think,” Neetu wrote, adding that after watching the recording, she realised her daughter had the potential to become a good orator.

While some viewers found the little girl's confidence amusing and impressive, others focused on the bigger question of children being exposed to social media at such a young age.

One parent shared their own experience, saying they had allowed their daughter to post a couple of edits but eventually had to stop her from posting after noticing how much time she spent checking likes and comments. Others warned about the possible effects of social media on young children and urged parents to be cautious about giving them access to platforms at an early age.

For now, though, the seven-year-old's first attempt at being a content creator was less about likes and more about delivering her very own weather-and-society report — complete with “watery watery” as her verdict.
