Delhi voters needn't submit SIR form offline if filed online: Poll body

The Election Commission (EC) has clarified that the voters of Delhi who have already submitted their Special Intensive Revision (SIR) enumeration form online do not need to fill or submit the same form offline.

The poll body said the digital submission facility was introduced to make the process more convenient and that voters who have completed it online need not duplicate the exercise.
In addition to Delhi, the roll-revision process is also underway in 16 states and two union territorries.
HOW TO SUBMIT SIR FORMS? POLL BODY INSTRUCTS VOTERS
Delhi voters can submit the SIR form through the Voters' Service Portal by logging in with the mobile number linked to their EPIC (Voter ID) and Aadhaar. The process requires OTP-based e-sign verification before the form can be successfully submitted.
The EC has advised voters to keep a copy of the acknowledgement receipt generated after online submission. During house visits, BLOs may ask voters to show the receipt as proof that the form has already been filed digitally.
The poll body said that in some cases, BLOs may ask voters to attach the online acknowledgement with a physical form for administrative clarity or abundant caution. However, the Commission stressed that there is no mandatory requirement for Delhi voters to refill the SIR form offline if it has already been submitted online.
