According to the revised schedule, the last date for completing the distribution of enumeration forms and voter verification has been pushed from August 3 to August 10, 2026.
The draft electoral roll, which was scheduled to be published earlier, will now be released on August 17, 2026.
Citizens will be able to file claims and objections regarding the draft voter list between August 17 and September 16, 2026. The final electoral roll will be published on October 19, 2026.
The Commission said the extension was necessitated by the slow pace of digitisation of enumeration forms received during the revision exercise.
