The salon owner said the salon stopped allowing her to attend training on June 9 after she failed to furnish her Aadhaar card despite repeated requests. He added that she never returned to the salon after that.
Tripathi also alleged that she did not disclose her real name at the salon. According to him, she introduced herself as "Mansil." He, however, said her behaviour at the salon remained normal throughout her training and that no issues arose during her visits.
Commenting on the controversy, Tripathi said making such abusive remarks against the Prime Minister was wrong and should be condemned.
The developments come as police investigate a case related to the 15-year-old's alleged remarks against the Prime Minister during a protest at Jantar Mantar.
A Zero FIR was registered against the girl at Noida's Expressway Police Station on July 29, 2026, in connection with the alleged derogatory slogans raised during the July 23 protest at Jantar Mantar.
Meanwhile, a day after the complaint was filed, the girl posted an apology video online, claiming she is 15 years old and saying she was influenced by others during the protest.
In the video, which shows her with folded hands, she says she had joined the protest with friends after visiting Connaught Place and got carried away by people raising abusive slogans against PM Modi.
"I came under the influence of those people. I am only 15 years old. Whatever I did was unforgivable. I said many wrong things," she says in the video.
Describing it as her "first and last mistake", she adds, "I apologise to the entire country. I am deeply ashamed. I can't even look at myself. Please forgive me."
It is noteworthy that Cockroach Janta Party's Saurav Das had earlier mentioned that the girl's age was 25. India Today Digital could not independently verify her age.
The girl's apology surfaced hours after PM Modi released a video message on Instagram on Friday, saying he had forgiven the students accused of raising abusive slogans against him during the protest and urging society to guide them instead of seeking punishment.
"The abusive slogans used against me and my late mother were deeply disturbing," Modi said. "But young people should be given an opportunity to learn from their mistakes."
According to the complaint, the girl used abusive language against the Prime Minister, undermining the dignity of the constitutional office. The complaint also alleged that the remarks were made with the deliberate intent to incite ill-will and disturb public peace.
Police registered the case under Sections 352, 353(1), and 356(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The Zero FIR has since been transferred to Parliament Street Police Station in Delhi, which will conduct the investigation and take further legal action based on its findings.
According to available information, the accused lived with her mother in a housing society in Noida. However, the flat is currently locked. Security personnel at the society said she had not returned to the apartment since the protest at Jantar Mantar. Police have also visited the society and questioned people as part of the ongoing investigation.
Meanwhile, Das criticised the registration of the FIR against the girl in a post on X, saying the "misuse of criminal machinery" against the girl was "unacceptable."
"Profanity does not attract criminal case. 50% of Lok Sabha MPs have criminal cases against them, close to 100 MPs in the BJP. The Police can focus their energy towards them, not a 25-year old! Harassment of the young must STOP immediately," he wrote.
