Soon after the first shows concluded, moviegoers began sharing their reactions on X. One user wrote, "Ban gaya cool. Dhamaal 4 = Cringe comedy. Bachho ko bhi hansi nahi ayegi (Trying too hard to look cool. Dhamaal 4 is cringe comedy. Even children won't laugh) (sic)."

Another viewer felt the film delivered only in parts but appreciated Ajay Devgn's comic performance. The user wrote, "#Dhamaal4 Interval: It is more like ki aapko bhi pata tha what you are going for. Having 0 expectations but it still doesn't work. Overall bhi wo 'Dhamaal' perspective se hit and miss hai. Moments hai lekin wo bhi stretchy hai. Though good to see #AjayDevgn in 'that' comic form (sic)."

Some viewers also criticised the film's technical aspects. One X user commented, "#Dhamaal4 Makers are too lazy using Cheap quality Ai to Show Back story montage. Instagram youtube creators make better than this (sic)."

Another social media user summed up their disappointment with a wordplay, writing, "Dhamaal 4 (cross sign) SCAMaal 4 (right sign) (sic)."

Apart from the franchise's original quartet of Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi and Jaaved Jaaferi, the film also stars Ravi Kishan, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Esha Gupta and others in key roles.

The latest installment follows the gang as they set out in search of the "Treasure of Life." Their mission soon spirals into a series of chaotic and comic misadventures, staying true to the franchise's trademark blend of slapstick humour and adventure.
