Friends say I look like young Hrithik: CJP's Saurav Das jokes after Kangana's post
Saurav Das, spokesperson of CJP, responded with humour after BJP MP Kangana Ranaut called him 'useless' and 'unemployed', joking that he might resemble young Hrithik Roshan. Despite the heated exchange, Das expressed willingness to have a respectful conversation.
After being called "useless" and "unemployed" by BJP MP and actor Kangana Ranaut, Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) spokesperson Saurav Das has responded with humour. Speaking to journalist Barkha Dutt, Das joked that Kangana may have singled him out because, as one of his friends put it, he "looks a little like young Hrithik Roshan". The remark came amid the ongoing war of words between the two.
Asked about Kangana's repeated personal remarks over the last few days, Das said he was surprised to find himself at the centre of the actor-politician's criticism.
"My friends were texting me asking, 'Why is she after your life now?' One of them said I may look a little bit like young Hrithik Roshan. Is that true? This is what my friends told me after all of this. I was pleasantly surprised. Why would she want to attack someone like me?" he said with a laugh.
He, however, maintained that he had nothing personal against Kangana.
Das further said disagreements should be settled through conversation rather than personal attacks. Referring to the Instagram Story he had posted earlier in the day, he said, "I have nothing personal against Kangana Ranaut. She's the one using personal remarks against Gen-Z and now against me."
"I've already said on my Instagram Story today, 'Yo Kangana, just take a chill pill. Let's talk this out.' That is how it should be. The problem in this country is that people don't talk anymore. There's less deliberation, less discussion and less debate. We should be able to have conversations while respecting each other," he added.

Das also urged Kangana to be more mindful of her words, saying her remarks came across as "frustrated". He said public representatives should be careful while speaking about the country's younger generation because they are ultimately accountable to the people.

Despite the exchange, Das said he remains open to speaking with Kangana if she wishes to. "If Kangana wants to speak to me, she can very well call. I am happy to speak with her," he said, reiterating that he harbours no personal ill will towards the actor.
Responding to Kangana calling him "useless" and "jobless", Das said he did not take the comments personally.
"Why should anyone be hurt? She is hurting the future generation of this country. I personally have no ill will against her. She called me useless and jobless. I do work, aise toh nahi chalta hai na. Her Google is also giving her wrong information," he said.
