Royal revival | Vadodara's Kirti Mandir restoration

For the first time since it was built in 1936, Vadodara’s Kirti Mandir has undergone a major restoration. Standing near the Vishwamitri River, about a kilometre from the city centre, Kirti Mandir is the cenotaph of the Gaekwads, the dynasty that ruled Baroda for close to three centuries.
