Indian woman in US finds brother's car with tyres stolen, thieves leave a note behind

An Indian woman living in the US was left with a rather bizarre sight when she checked on her brother’s car, only to find that all four tyres had been stolen while it was parked outside their property.

Aishika Soney, who currently lives in the US, shared the incident on Instagram, showing her brother’s car sitting without any of its wheels. What made the discovery even more startling was a note left at the property warning residents about a series of similar thefts.

In the video, Aishika first turned the camera towards herself and said, “Who says that nothing gets stolen in the US?” She then explained that the car belonged to her brother and that someone had stolen all four tyres while it was parked there.

She walked around the vehicle to show the extent of the damage, with the car visibly sitting low without its wheels. She then pointed out that the thieves had left behind a note for residents.

The note warned that at least three cars had been vandalised at the Crystal House property over the weekend, while at least three vehicles had also had their wheels stolen. It called on Crystal House management to take parking-lot crime more seriously.

Aishika kept her caption short and added to the irony of the situation, writing, “There was a time when this car felt taller."

The unusual theft prompted concern among viewers, with one person saying the police should investigate the matter seriously.

Another shared their own experience of having to file an insurance claim after their car was taken, explaining that insurance could potentially cover replacement wheels and tyres depending on the deductible and policy.

One user, meanwhile, offered a blunt suggestion: “Come back to India, It's safe here.”

The incident left viewers debating a familiar assumption about safety in the US, while also serving as an unfortunate reminder that a parked car can still become an easy target for thieves.
