Jaipur woman among 3 Bangladeshis arrested; cops allege fake Hindu identity

Senior police officer Rajarshi Raj said the three accused were arrested from different parts of Jaipur. The woman, identified as Rubia, was arrested from the Narayan Vihar police station area, while Nadeem was caught from Mansarovar and Ashish Haldar from Sanganer Sadar.
During preliminary questioning, all three allegedly admitted that they had entered India illegally from Bangladesh several years ago. The woman claimed she had crossed into India on the pretext of seeking medical treatment, while the two men said they had entered the country in search of employment.
PASSPORT RECOVERED, AADHAAR UNDER SCANNER
Police said the woman entered India through Assam before eventually reaching Jaipur. A Bangladeshi passport was recovered from her possession, but investigators found no valid immigration stamps or records showing legal entry into or exit from India.
Officials also recovered an Aadhaar card that is suspected to be forged. Investigators are now trying to determine who prepared the document and how it was procured.
According to police sources, preliminary investigation has revealed possible links between Bangladeshi women arrested in Jaipur, Nagaur, Bhilwara and Ajmer.
Investigators suspect that several of these women allegedly concealed their identities before marrying Hindu men in different parts of Rajasthan. Police are also examining whether some of them were brought to India by networks allegedly involved in prostitution.
LARGER NETWORK BEING PROBED
Police have not found or officially confirmed any evidence so far linking the accused to anti-national activities or an organised module.
