Sharing his thoughts on X, Vanga urged audiences to watch the film, describing it as one of those rare cinematic experiences that stays with viewers long after it ends.

Calling Rao Bahadur a film made with conviction, Vanga praised Venkatesh Maha's storytelling and reserved special appreciation for lead actor Satyadev Kancharana's performance. He urged audiences to dedicate three hours to the film, saying projects like these deserve recognition and applause.

Responding to the appreciation, Satyadev thanked the Animal director and wrote, "Thank you so much, Sandeep. Means a lot coming from a filmmaker who has always stood by his convictions. We made Rao Bahadur with nothing but faith in the story and in cinema. Your words make every struggle worthwhile. Grateful (sic)."

The appreciation comes as Rao Bahadur continues its theatrical run despite facing competition at the box office. According to the tracking website Sacnilk report, the film has grossed an estimated Rs 11.17 crore worldwide in 11 days, including Rs 4.50 crore from overseas markets. In India, it has collected an estimated Rs 6.04 crore nett, with Andhra Pradesh and Telangana contributing the majority of its earnings.

Written, directed and edited by Venkatesh Maha, Rao Bahadur follows Ramappa Rao Bahadur, an ageing aristocrat battling terminal illness while confronting an obsession with his legacy. The film stars Satyadev Kancharana alongside Anand Bharathi and Deepa Thomas in pivotal roles.
