What will they gain?: Actor and BJP MP Hema Malini reacts to CJP protests in Delhi
The first day of Parliament's Monsoon Session witnessed an intense protest by the Cockroach Janta Party in central Delhi, leading to clashes with security forces. BJP MP Hema Malini urged for dialogue over disruption and assured that the government will take appropriate action on the issues raised.
Reacting to Cockroach Janta Party's (CJP) ongoing protest in Delhi, BJP MP and actor Hema Malini questioned what protesters hoped to achieve by disrupting proceedings. The first day of Parliament's Monsoon Session saw the protest spill onto the streets of central Delhi, with clashes breaking out between demonstrators and security forces during CJP's Sansad Chalo march.
Speaking to media, Hema Malini said such matters should be resolved through dialogue rather than demonstrations, adding she did not want to comment extensively on the issue and added that the government would take an appropriate stand.
"Unko disturb karke, unko aap involve kara rahe hai in cheezo mein toh unko kya milega, You should be happy to do something good (If you disturb them and drag them into these matters, what do you expect them to gain? You should be happy to do something good)," Hema Malini said.
"Iss vishay me mai jyada bolna nahi chahungi jiske liye kya stand lena hai, yeh humari Sarkar barabar legi (I do not wish to say much more on this subject; our government will certainly take the appropriate stand)," she added.

The 77-year-old actor also referred to the Ayodhya Ram Mandir theft issue and said those who had committed wrongdoing would be punished, regardless of who they were. She said several people had already been sent to jail and added that the government would ensure justice was served.
All about CJP's 'Sansad Chalo' protest
The CJP had called for the march from Jantar Mantar to Parliament to demand education reforms and seek the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged irregularities in the NEET examination.
The protest coincided with the opening day of the Monsoon Session, prompting heightened security arrangements across central Delhi and around the Parliament complex. Demonstrators and police clashed repeatedly as protesters attempted to move beyond the security barricades.
Security forces deployed tear gas shells, carried out lathi charges and brought in anti-riot vehicles as authorities worked to contain the situation.
With the Monsoon Session under way inside Parliament, security was tightened across the area.
