Director Christopher Nolan and actor Tom Holland arrived in Mumbai for The Odyssey screening. The film is set to have Christopher Nolan's first-ever premiere in India.
Filmmaker Christopher Nolan and actor Tom Holland arrived in Mumbai for The Odyssey event. Several pictures and videos of the Hollywood stars at Mumbai’s private airport have emerged online. The Odyssey will mark the first Christopher Nolan film to premiere in India.
In one of the videos, Holland's car was seen leaving the airport, though fans were unable to catch a glimpse of the Hollywood star. In another image, he was seen greeting and waving at the paparazzi before making his way into the hotel.

Nolan will be joined by his producer-wife Emma Thomas, along with lead actors Matt Damon and Tom Holland, who portray Odysseus and his son Telemachus, respectively, for the event.
Universal Pictures International has included Mumbai as an official stop on The Odyssey's global premiere tour, placing the city alongside London, Paris and New York.
Filmed across multiple countries using newly developed IMAX technology, The Odyssey is the first feature film to be shot entirely with IMAX cameras.
Its India premiere will take place at PVR ICON IMAX at Phoenix Palladium in Mumbai today.
Apart from Matt Damon and Tom Holland, the ensemble cast includes Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong'o, Samantha Morton, Zendaya and Charlize Theron. The film is produced by Christopher Nolan and Emma Thomas under their banner, Syncopy.
Written and directed by Nolan, The Odyssey is a cinematic adaptation of Homer's epic poem, chronicling Odysseus's decade-long journey home after the fall of Troy. The film is set to be experienced on IMAX screens worldwide.
Meanwhile, advance ticket sales for IMAX screenings of The Odyssey began across India on June 8. The launch immediately drew attention to the high ticket rates, with premium seats costing up to Rs 3,000 in Mumbai and Pune. Some late-night shows in Mumbai were priced as high as Rs 3,300, making them among the most expensive movie tickets currently available in the country.
The film will release in theatres on July 17.
